“Help Santa get the presents ready for Christmas”

The run-up to Christmas is great and everything, but those long, winter nights can still get ever-so boring. Snowed In provides the perfect way to get in the festive mood and beat boredom all in one handy download.

This latest incarnation of the popular yuletide game sees you help Santa out of a pickle by matching Christmas symbols to help him get the presents ready. In essence, it's another clone of the Bejeweled game, only with a festive twist.

To get the most from the game, you'll first need to obtain a free registration code . Once you get going you'll see a gameboard with seven randomly-arranged symbols covered with snow. The puzzle involves you matching three symbols in a row, either horizontally or vertically, in order to clear them from the board.

The gameplay is pretty addictive, and once you start mastering the combos, you'll find yourself gripped in an effort to better the high scores. Graphically, the game is well rendered, with plenty of snow and colourful Christmas symbols, and there's some nice sound effects thrown in there as well.

If you're looking for a way to warm up your brain on those chilly winter evenings, Snowed In 6 is the perfect companion.
